Is it illegal to post your teacher's court records (which contain her address), on a public bullitin board?

Its a public record, so its not illegal to show others (the bulletin board might have some regulations however-see the owner)...but if you don't want to fail the class, or get expelled, then I suggest you just forget about this idea...

My question is why you would want to do this to someone, even if you don't like them.  It shows a lack of judgment and a lot of immaturity on your part to do that to someone else.  Would you want someone to do this to you if you had a record?

And even if it is public record, they could sue you for defamation of character so you need to find something else to entertain yourself with and not worry about what others have done.....

one exception ~ a pedophile.  I do believe people need to be warned about them so they can protect their children but you'd best make sure you do it in a legal way so it doesn't come back to bite you.

It is legal information but the way you are broadcasting it is illegal.  You can't just take someone's personal info and put it publically.
