  1. It's not illegal, however if your purchase violates the fare rules for the airfare you are purchasing the airline may cancel the ticket or require you to pay the difference between what you paid and a full-fare ticket (up to US$8,000 for that routing) before you fly.

Check the fare rules first for residency requirements.

    Good luck!

  2. No, it's the company's responsibility to block sales if originating in a country (internet domain) where forbidden.  I have purchased from other countries many times with no problems, but occasionally run into obstacles such as "can only accept British or EU credit cards" for example.  There's usually a work-around.

  3. Im from Mexico and I have bought tickets several times form the U.S.A expedia website experiencing no problem at all nevertheless you should check the fare restrictions to see if that great price its limited to people actually living in AU

  4. Nope, its not illegal at all.

That should be no problem, but as has been said before sometimes they only accept certain cards etc. and if you do break any fare rules your ticket is invalid.
