drive off even if the city has placed a boot on your tire. There have been several occasions, where I've seen people driving w/boots on their tires [Los Angeles, CA] - seems as if they would get a 2nd ticket for driving off w/the boot on their tire?? Is this the case? Any personal stories?

  1. No personal stories but the driver would still pay the fine and if the boot is damaged will pay around $1000.00.

  2. That's illegal as illegal gets, plus major major car damages. Should just pay the fines rather than the damages!!

  3. If it's the same color of the car, I don't see what the problem is!
