  1. It depends on the highway or interstate. You can legally ride your bike on Interstate 10 in southern New Mexico (for an example).

  2. It depends on the laws of your state. In California you can ride on certain sections of the Interstates. The on-ramps are clearly marked.

  3. i dont think so.

if any u have to have it liscensed.

here is a site that talks about the law with bikes on the highway.

  4. in some regions of the country. in the northeast, no. there isn't enough room for all the f'n BMWs during rush hour, where would we put a bicycle?

  5. highways-no

    interstates- yes

  6. It is NOT permitted on Interstates. Some highways should be fine although i wouldn't recommend riding on some because of the dangers associated with it.

  7. i got arrested for doing that

    300$ fine

    its not worth it

  8. Most highways have signs on the on-ramps that tell you if you can or cannot ride your bike on the highway. I know a stretch of highway where I live that allows bikes only because there is no other way to get through. Non of my friends will ride it with me, I think they are pretty smart.

  9.   You have the same rights as cars. You also have to follow the same rules and laws.
