  1. Only if you don't have permission to share it

  2. I would think any programme broadcast would have copyright protection in the same way as movies and music. The fact that most programmes are available on catch up or on the web reduces the need to share. Freetube broadcasts certain shows and other stuff.

  3. It's illegal to sell

  4. Viacom are currently suing Youtube for it, they've got a court order for everyone's IP addresses.

Generally everything is copyrighted, but whether or not sharing things without anyone being able to download it has yet to be ruled on.

  5. Yes

  6. Sharing - NO

    Selling - YES

As long as you are not making profit then it is legal

    Hope This Helped

  7. Not if it's with a friend. It would be illegal only if you sold it to someone,or made money on it somehow.

  8. It might well have been illegal to have recorded it, never mind distribute it.

  9. If you record a show and let someone borrow it, it isn't illegal, but selling it would be.

  10. It Depends.  If You Are Putting It On The Internet I Think It Is Illegal But If You Are Making A Copy For Yourself on A Disk Its Ok.

  11. Technically Yes. remember the phrase "Personal Use".

  12. Not necessarily, in the 80s when VCRs became commonplace, it was so hard to monitor that they pretty much abandoned any legislation regarding personal or closed social use. If you're widely distributing or publicly broadcasting copyrighted programmes then that is a different matter.

  13. yes it its very illegal you will go to jail some day and dont be surprised if i am on the trial when i rat you out ........LOL sorta

  14. i dont think so.

  15. i dont think so

  16. Yes it is

  17. You're breaking copyright law if you record something from the TV and still have it after 30 days - crazy.  I usually tape films and they're on TV again before I get round to watching them!

It is illegal to make a copy for someone else, at least in the UK.
