Yes. Depending on the state you live in it could be classified as "Criminial Mischief" to "Obstructing Governmental Administration" or any other variety of misdemeanors like that. Chances of you going to jail? Zero. Chance of you getting an Appearance ticket if caught and having to see a judge? Very good. Just don't do it. You might think it's funny at the time, but a cop won't if you get caught.
