Is it illegal to talk on a cell phone on speaker phone?

i only heard that you can talk with a headset.

what about if it was on speaker? both hands

are on the wheel and its like the same thing.

nope as long as it is hands free..so speaker phone is totally fine!!!

You have to check about laws in your area, since these are local or state.

One point  that is coming out, is that the headset or no headset.. is not the part that is dangerous.  Even with headset or speaker.. the driver is paying more attention to talking than driving.

I admit using my cell in the car. I ONLY dial at red lights, and never talk longer than is needed (1-2 minutes).  Legal or not.. chatting while driving is dangerous.

Makes sense to me.  Tell that to the judge if you get caught,  Good luck that's what I would do.

It would depend on the wording of the local ordinance, but I would imagine any hands-free option would be legal.
