Yes actually it is.  It's illegal to tattoo out of your house in every state,  and this is because of sterilization of tools and equipment.  The government doesn't allow it.  Be careful ........I know this because i build tattoo machines, and you can get in ALOT of trouble if someone ends up infected and blames you.
