Is it illegal to use 2 identical coupons?

my step dad printed off 2 coupons off the internet, and they both have the same bar code. is that illegal?

Yes as long as you buy one item for each coupon. Of course, you can't use 2 coupons for one item! Now that's illegal, and they won't let you do it anyway. No double dipping!
