I do believe it may be illegal in CA, however, it is always illegal for an illegal alien, being anywhere on our soil!

No, it is not illegal, but it is weird if you do that, especially in CA if you look like latino. I'm pretty sure police patrol is going to check your paper and want to know why you are walking out there, but it is not illegal.

It is illegal to walk on a freeway in CA. Freeway includes the actual roadway and surrounding property for the freeway.
