to bury my dog in my backyard ? natural death yes! if i do what happens? whats the proper process in this case

No. It's not legal. But I bury my animals anyway.

Just today I buried my brother's fish and I put a brick as his gravestone.

I don't see anything illegal about it.  If so, there will be alot of people paying hefty fines etc.  :)

I have had regular pet cemetaries in my yards in the past.  Wrap the body in an old blanket and put it in a box and bury it...You can also buy headstones for graves of pets...

I wouldn't think it would be illegal b/c everyone in this world doesn't feel it is right to pay the vet just to burn the dog...so i dont see any harm!

I don't think so, everyone does it.  Even if it is illegal its a daft law, and nobody will tell on you if you do!

Yes, in some cities it is illegal to bury your dog in your backyard. But really, who is checking.

its your dog, its your yard, go for it, id put a big rock or plant a bush over top of it once the dog is buried to mark the grave and so no wild animal can dig it up.Blessings:)

It depends on where you live.  If you do not get caught then it won't matter.  We have a lot of our pets  (from the past 35 years) buried in our back yard.  We have some family members pets also because they live in the city and have very small yards to bury a dog, so we have them in our yard.
