Is it illigal to play with fire?

me and my freind are lighting party poppers and we want to light it on fire so wee did it 2 is it illigal to light stuff on fire like napkins and shoes is it illigal to have a campfire in your backyard please answer neighbor saw us and will call firedepartment

it is illegal to be an arsonist.

it may be illegal, too, to have an open fire in some municipalities. you need to check your local jurisdictions laws.

I think No. 1 you are a pyromaniac (The irresistible urge to start fires.) and you need to get help.

No 2. Unless you do harm to a person, or contents, buildings etcetera, it is perfect legal.

Remember where and when you are doing things though. Winds can affect where the fire goes.

Dry grass starts fires spontaneously.

Any projectile type device, I would think is illegal. Because it can set things on fire.

Backyard fires, I believe are legal, if set far enough away from buildings, no winds, to flare it yup somewhere else, and you can put it out quickly.

Basically just don't start fires to start them.

Don't get yourself in the possibility of trouble, by doing something dumb.

If you are that interested in fire, (depending on your age), join your local volunteer fire company, and learn to put them out.
