Is it impossible for there to be a terrorist attack like 9/11 to happen now?

you know with all the security about these days in the airport do you think its impossible or do you think there is still a chance something like 9/11 could still happen around the world.

They are happening all the time. I consider every murder in America to be a terrorist attack.

9/11 was like a Hollywood creation that's why it got so much attention plus loads of wealthy people were killed and rich corporations suffered. When poor people or average Americans are killed they are treated as second-class citizens. Just look at the million dollar payouts to the families of those who died in the world trade center attacks verses those who are murdered daily in the USA by American terrorists. Did any of those shot by driveby shooters get million dollar payouts? Why not?

Then look at the payouts to the families of the soldiers who have died overseas fighting for America. The truth is clear. 9/11 and the action that has resulted from it is about rich people and corporations suffering. The poor get nothing for their losses. The families of the soldiers over in Iraq should be getting 1,000,000 each minimum. And those killed by random violence in the US should get money too.

So, yes terrorism is still happening.

I don't think al Qaeda feel the need to attack. They did "offensive jihad" retaliation to the homeland turf so that they could get America on THEIR turf and fight them face to face. In fact, as cowardly as I'm sure they are, we're still loosing against them damnit!!

By the way it's support for Israel they really hate, and the policy the government has of costing american taxpayers loads for Israel's funding. We're practically giving death taxes (you know coz Israel oppresses Palestine).

I don't think they will use aeroplanes again too hard to get through the easier the better. and if the people think they are vulnerable then terror spreads faster that is what they want. I feel they will hit the economy some how maybe the oil sector maybe since we are struggling maybe the power grid think of the chaos!!

You have to remember there has always been some form of security in airports.

The type of attack would be different, but if enough humans want something hard enough they will eventually achieve their goal.

It does make you wonder if all the hysteria these events have caused and all the subsequent "precautions" are really worth it.  I tire of seeing armed police everywhere i work, simply because it may be under threat.  Its total rubbish.  Our security hasn't dipped below "Heightened" ever since 911 happened.

Attacks will still happen because injustice is happening to people everywhere from all walks of life.  It just seems the way of the world now days :(

I think it is still a possibility.  Much less of a chance because of the heightened security but unfortunatly anything can happen.  We have a lot of crazies in this world.  Just do not live in fear.

9/11 was a false flag whichever way you see it.  Intentionally allowing the attacks to happen is just as much a false flag as direct involvement.  

Even if you believe the government is totally innocent (e.g., the air defense failures and the intelligence failures were "mistakes"), it is difficult to claim that it wasn't exploited like a false flag.  How much truth were we fed to induce acceptance to Iraq war? Hmm.

Yes, there are Arab terrorists, and they hate us for our foreign policy, but the threat of Arab terrorist attack here, on the scale of 9/11, has been grossly exaggerated by the politicians and the media.

There are criminal elements inside the government that were complicit in 9/11.  As long as they remain there, I suppose there is a chance of another attack.  As long as we continue to support endless war and the gradual dismantling of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the criminals will let us be.

If we want to be safe, we must use our votes more wisely and stop letting the government use the corporate-controlled main stream media as a propaganda machine.
