Would it be inappropriate for a Gulf Arab man to go to Egypt to do business wearing his national dress of Kandora and ghutra (the long white one with the head piece)?

  1. it is absolutely appropriate to wear your national dress .

    you can also be dressed like the Egyptians .

    here no one bothers about what you wear .

    be comfortable .


  2. not inappropriate but u will attract beggars and u will pay more in taxi's

    anyway when gulf Arabians come they wear like egyptians, why they should wear Kandora and ghutra?

  3. No, it should be absolutly ok.

    Actually many Gulf Arabs feel at home in Egypt more than anywhere else. Many go to Egypt for holidays with their families because they know that their wives and daughters can still dress they same as back in their homes.

    even if u find another one from your country you'll find him wearing casual.

    so i suggest u go casual.
