  1. A mom in her 30's can definitely wear a bikini if she has the goods! The others mom's secretly wish they could!

  2. Well if that mom is fat and ugly, yes, but normal mom :)

    no, it is not inappropriate.

I wear bikini :) And I am a mom of 3 (good looking mom :) hahaha)

  3. No, it's not inappropriate.  As long as it's not like, a string bikini, around a bunch of kids.

Also, assuming you're appropriately groomed.  I have a traumatic memory from when I was 5 of some lady at the local pool with hair down to her knees sticking out.  The image...it burns

  4. If you get the vibe that it's frowned on, then don't do it.

  5. if she's comfortable wearing it and has the body for it why not. if she doesn't then maybe she should rethink it.

  6. What it be a different scenario if she was in her 30's but had no kids?  If you look good in a bikini and are comfortable wearing it, then go for it.

  7. We are too worried about what others think, and when it comes to this question, I have to say....

Who cares.  It is not me, so I don't worry about it.

If someone 85 wants to wear a bikini, then let her.  It is not my choice, nor will I judge her on her appearance.

I never met a person who can judge a person by what they look like, and be remotely intelligent.

I know several 30+ year olds that would turn your head all day, an again next week.

Don't get caught up in the, "Hey look what she is wearing" c**p.  It only shows your lack of confidence when walking beside her, and showing you don't care.  These traits are what women do not want, so it only hurts you.

March to your own beat.......thats what I always say.

  8. Have you been to your average public beach lately?

No, it's not inappropriate. If she wants to wear it, it's her choice and has nothing to do with etiquette.

  9. Well personally, and maybe I'm a prude, but I don't think a bikini is appropriate for anyone to wear.  If that same woman were walking down the street in a tight mini skirt and a tube top, we'd all have something to say...yet she would be wearing far more clothes than a bikini would cover.

I definitely don't think she needs to be wearing it around kids either...you have no idea what the age 12 and up boys are thinking that are there!

I also think this attitude that "gee, as long as they aren't fat or ugly it's okay."  Why don't we just ban fat and ugly people from ever leaving their house in the first place?  If something is inappropriate, it's inappropriate.

  10. I don't see why she shouldn't wear a bikini if she has the body for it. More concerning, though is this "coverup" business. If you're going to wear a swimsuit, why cover it? When I lived in an apartment, I used to walk from my apartment to the pool in just my bikini, I saw no need for extra clothes.

  11. if u r over 120 lbs YESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

    DOINT embarrs r kids

    Summer says high

  12. If she was forcing you to wear a bikini and you didn't want to, then you would have a valid gripe.

You, however, have decided that you should play her father and decide for her what to wear? She is 30's, not 3. And you are her child, not the parent. You have no say, and what she wears is non of your concern unless it is illegal. That would be a nude mom going to the neighborhood pool. Which is not the case. So chill.

Instead thank your mom for letting you go to the pool.

  13. No, if a mother in her thirties feels comfortable wearing a bikini then why not, ?

  14. It's fine as long as she is not hanging out too much! You know what I mean. Cover up the sensitive parts and that she acts like a lady. A bikini can be tasteful providing the individual wearing it "fits into it" and also has a sense of appropriate behavior.

  15. Hey if you got it, flaunt it! But you definitely have to have it in order to get away with it, lol. Maybe some board shorts will make you feel more comfortable?? That's always worked for me...

  16. Hello?! She's in her 30s! Not one foot in the grave! As long as she's not wearing a g-string she's probably fine.

  17. well that depends if it's pleasing to the eyes..
