That is a very general question. I don't think its whether their bad or good. I think the issue with Iran is no one trusts the Iranian government with a nuke.

No country is inherantly bad - the rulers (politicans, religious leaders, regional officers etc.) and the polices that they follow/apply are what determines whether or not a country is evil, which in itself is subjective.  Muslims are not evil or bad in the same way that Catholics, protestants, Jews, g**s etc. are not bad or evil.  You'd have to look at the individual.

Im not talking about thier president, since he doesn't actually run iran.

the Mullahs run iran.

They support terrorist in lebanon and Palestine areas.

hezzbollah and Hamas.

im sure iran has great citizens and great people but their government has bad elements in it

Iran is run according to religious premice. The complete barbarity of it's laws qualify it in my mind to be bad. Although as in any country, there are good people. I do think there can be good dictatorships and bad democracies, and Iran is an example of the latter.

It only became a bad country in seventy something when it tried to nationalised BP so it`s democratically elected government was over thrown by US as a favour to it`s British friend. So now we are back to pot  calling kettle black we sow the seed of self ruination the blame others for not being good.  In a nut shell no land in the world is bad it may inhabited by some bad people but never the majority bad. Do you not agree asker???

I think that Iran is both like the US and opposite at the same time.  The religious and political ideals are opposite, but in both cases, it's not the people who disagree, or are bad, but rather their governments.
