  1. I don't know how it is they're standing against sexism.  It seems to me that they are suggesting exactly the opposite: that because Quayle-in is a woman she shouldn't be scrutinized or criticized.  They seem to be suggesting that any criticism of her represents sexism.

  2. All women with careers in male dominated profession stand together against sexism because they have first had experience with it. This               is true in politics and it crosses party lines. It does not mean that they support their election but they do not support or   tolerate  attacks based on gender. Conservative  women in the media deafened Hilliary and it    is not ironic that the are defensing Palin. Any women that  attacks Palin based on her gender is not a feminist. There ia more than enough   reasons to oppose her without talking about her pregnancy, her role as a mother, or who will take care of her  children. It is a shame that many young women to not get it, and continue the male game to keep "women in their place".

  3. Choosing a clearly unqualified candidate merely on the basis that you think her gender will help your chances is, in fact, an example of sexism.

  4. I completely agree and it's blatantly obvious why.  They're putting politics before their supposed convictions and I find it quite interesting, indeed.  McCain really sold out on this one and I find his choice in Sarah Palin insulting to intelligent American women.

If she would have been the Democratic VP nominee of the most qualified Democratic Candidate (no, I'm not eluding to Obama).....oh, can you even imagine?

By the way, I'm not a Democrat.

  5. That is because liberal feminists did it long ago.

It is now Republican women who have to free themselves from the daily routine of getting smacked and ordered to go get another beer.

Oh you are talking about McCain picking Palin. he only did it because he thinks women are so stupid that they will make a woman being in office their only issue.....that is sexism.

  6. And how are the Republicans doing that exactly?  By choosing a woman VP a GENERATION after the Democrats did?  No way.

  7. How so: by selecting a woman purely to appeal to a segment of the population regardless of her inexperience?  Sounds pretty sexist...
