I do that sometimes .... I try not to, because it may lead to obsessive behaviour. And the phone always rings...so yes, it is just a quiet day....

I love it when mine don't ring. I hate talking on a phone. Sometimes, especially over weekends, I switch mine off.

Now why on earth would you want to disturb a lovely peaceful day with the sound of telephones ringing. The door bell has gone once today and so has the phone, perfect bliss.

today was unusually quiet. For the first time in months I had basically nothing to do at work - only received about 10 e-mails (usually it is between 50-60 a day) and even sent a test message to myself to make sure that our e-mail was working!!!!
