Last June, I stopped taking birth control. My period was irregular for a while, but in feb. it got onto a schedule. I got it every 26 days up until June 20. That was my last period and I didnt get it July 16th like i was supposed to. I have started feeling really tired during the day and early in the night. I eat like crazy without even realizing how much i actually ate. and i have bumps on my areolas. I took a pregnancy test friday morning but it was negative. Could I still be pregnant? This would be my first so i don't know what to expect except what i read on different websites.

  1. sounds like you are, eating symptoms dont usally appear that early. take another one in a week.

  2. Well I am right about where you are at as well.  Though my schedules are always regular as I have never been on BC i was supposed to start on the 20th of July.  Yet all of the pregnancy tests say Neg.  I too am exhausted and my b***s are looking "pregnant" lol.  All I can share with you is what my plan is.  Tonight I am going to limit my fluid intake drastically.  I have an ept waiting in the bathroom that I plan on taking tomorrow morning.  IF my period still isn't here tomorrow I am going to call the health department or go into the clinic here to get bloodwork done.  I've been there, done that with my first daughter.  2 weeks after I was due to get my period a urine test still would not show that i was in fact pregnant with her.  It took bloodwork to prove it.  I am only a week late but I am NEVER more than 2 days late so I am getting kind of Leary about the accuracy of the home tests I have taken so far.  If you still don't get your period I would call your doc to get blood work or to find out why you haven't started.  Good luck!!!

  3. Well sense you said you have been pretty regular for the last few months it is odd to just not get a period. When did you take the preg. test? Usually if you are pregnant you will get a positive result right around the time of your missed period. But it is different for everyone. Important thing to ask yourself were you having unprotected s*x around the first of July? If so and you missed your period now... the chances of you being pregnant are high. I know some people that don't get positives right away, if over the next few days you still don't get your period I would test again. If you get a neg. result I would make an appt at your OB office or health department if you don't have an OB.

Good luck with everything. The first time can be scary and confusing!
