Is it just me, or are we in a country that is anti-adult?

Watch the cartoons, they are always talking about "grown ups" in a negative way.

And take a look at the elections. Most of Obama's supporters main argument with McCain is "he is old"...so??? So that means he has more wisdom and experience, that's all. He is not falling apart! My grandpa is older than him and still going strong, still fit, still working on a farm.

So what is the problem? Why do young people have no respect anymore....could those d**n cartoons be to blame? Or is it more than that?

Most children can agree that they think adults are spazzes.Mostly because some adults try too hard to be best friends with their kids,they just seem to act like retards in kids' eyes.No kid believes that "adults only want what's best for you!",they believe adults want to ruin their fun.When they get older,they'll understand.

The cartoons are just a bonus.Think of it this way:Cartoons that say "grown-ups suck" could also be interpreted as "Kids rule!" so that when a kid realizes that'll they'll be an adult one day,they'll fall back on "kids rule" and think,since they'll be "lame adults" one day,they should have fun while they're young.

That's my opinion.Oh,and McCain is good.He's just an old f**t to most people.Obama is unexperienced.

It started with the Baby Boomers not respecting their elders. Now the aging Boomers are getting it back in their face!

It's more than cartoons!!!

We have parents that had no respect for their parents and who smoked pot and did drugs and alcohol.  Many later did this with their children. That was also the generation in which our society accepted babies having babies and free s*x a right as well as a rite.

Today, we have at least two generations with little in the way of morals and ZILTCH in the way of common sense.
