Is it just me, or do the magnets in shower curtains and liners fail to work and magnetize to the tub???

Everytime I go to take a shower, the shower liner's magnets fail to magnetize and stick to the tub. When I take a hot shower, the partioned shower area builds up with hot air due tot heat of the warm water, so the cold air on the other side pushes its way into the patrioned area to equalize the temps. However, the shower liner's magnets are not suppose to move, yet they flap around and go up and down .

Is there any way I can get magnets for my shower liner/curtain attached to the bottom of it, so it does not move and flap around when I take a shower?

  1. Your tub is not metal.  You might leave the curtain cracked open at the end farthest from the shower head to allow some room air to pass and eliminate water spray on the floor.

  2. If your tub isn't metal, they aren't going to stick no matter what else you do.  Many of the newer tubs are made out of plastic, resin or fiberglass.  Magnets are never going to work on them.
