Question:

Is it just me, or does Djokovic (and his family) get on your nerves?

Why can't he be more humble like Nadal, or Federer?

He tries to have a personality like Roddick, Safin, Ivanisevic, etc. but just comes across as an annoying punk.

Does anyone else agree that he's the most annoying player to play the men's game since Lleyton Hewitt was ranked number 1?

  1. he doesnt get on my nerves, he is a future champ,

  2. How many times will you ask this question? I won't bother to answer, I think i did last time you asked it.

  3. psh not at all he is amazin

  4. As much as I try to like this guy, there are just some things about him and his family that I can't seem to get pass. I do agree that he is the most annoying, self absorbed tennis player to come along in a while. People used to say some deservedly bad things about Hewitt, but even Hewitt is bit more tolerable than this Djokovic character. And that's saying a lot considering the kind of comments that Hewitt has made against other players and his sometimes annoying antics on the court.

For all those who are saying that this question has been debated to death by now. I believe you should ask yourself, if that's the case then why does it keep coming up time and time again? It just seems that the more attention that is placed on Djokovic and his family, and as more and more people get to know who they are and who he is, the more they can't stand them.

His supporters need to ask themselves: why is this and why does this issue keep coming up over and over again concerning him? People don't hate on the guy for irrational, biased and pitiful reasons. They hate the guy and his family because they have deep and profound concerns and issues with them. They need to look into this and try to do something about it now!!!

I remember how everyone used to give Sharapova a hard time for her father, Yuri's attitude whenever she is playing a match. And even though I don't disagree with their complaints of Yuri and Sharapova at times, I have to admit that even Maria has tried to explain her father, and that he just gets excited when he watches her play. You listen to her and you understand, "okay I should cut the guy some slack".

However with this Djokovic clan.. gosh these people comes across as if the tennis world owes them something and therefore we should all be bowing down and kissing their asses. And for what reason? Because their son just happened to win one Grandslam, when it's possible to assume that the world's number one just happened to not be 100% physically fit at the time. Give me a break people!!!

Djokovic is a very talented player. I will give him that much but if he ever expects to get the entire tennis world to start liking him to the point that we want to see him win every time he plays, like we do of Roger, then this guy and his family needs some serious lessons in class and tennis etiquette.

People can continue to support him and then try to come up with excuses for his classless behaviour. That's fine! But when someone is acting like an annoying, conceited punk on and off the court, and does not appear to make any apologies for it, in a sport that is known for rewarding discipline, class and humility, then nobody has any right to be angry when we call him on this attitude and behaviour.

  5. U r sick twisted .Do u have any new news?

  6. Yeah, I agree.

  7. I agree, Djokovic gets on my nerves and I'm really not a big fan of his. It would be great if him and all other obnoxious people could be more humble, but it's good to have varying personalities in every sport.

  8. Djokocovic doesn't annoy me that much. I don't mind his impressions but the thing that does annoy me is the fact that he tries a little tto hard to be like Roddick and Gonzalez. These guys have their own persona and their own flaring temperament and it suits them fine. I saw Djokovic when he was really low ranked and its bad to see the change. But he's just won a Grand Slam so he's bound to be a little hyper.

His family on the other hand.... dear goodness me, i want to kill them. They're worse than fanatics. I understand that parents want their children to do well and yes, they support them but the way that his parents are fastidiously at every match and the way that they get soooooo freakin hyped about absolutely everything annoys me so much. And his brothers... what's with them. I mean, do they not want to do anything themselves. They just seem to sit and watch him. Do they have no aspirations of their own or anything? Go and play some of your own tennis, dudes.

    Good question.

  9. don't get on my nerves at all. hes a a future legend in the game :)

  10. Are you kidding? Djokovic is a treat compared to the fake politically correct jack**** on tour right now. The only people Djokovic annoys are people  who loves bs. Djokovic keeps it real he's not for the faint of heart. All the wimps complaining about him need to suck it up because he's here to stay.

  11. Yes, it's just you, and this question is old and booooriiiing!!!

  12. Trust me, it's not just you.  I think it's a Serbian thing.  He and the two Serbian girls annoy me equally.  They try to be humble and stuff, but it just comes across as flakey.  I think they're proud people and they want to be glorified to a certain extent.  I'm like, good luck with that.  I think he's happy though that he's on Roger's side cuz he thinks he can beat Roger.  We'll see.  He hasn't beaten Nadal in any surface besides hard court (last in Miami early this year) so chances are, he'd lose to Nadal again if they meet in the semis if they were on the same side.  Nadal's road just opened up a little cuz Davydenko lost.  I hope Roger teaches that Serbian a lesson on manners on court.

  13. i agree...he's the most annoying player on tour. And i didn't like it when he was imitating other players. It was fun at first but he did it at every championship, and that, i think,is just rude. Its disrespectful for the other players especially when he has he's own annoying habits.

  14. I totally agree.. He thinks he is the ish..Try to show some class and humbleness Nole! Like rafa...

  15. Djokovic rocks - I think he's funny and extremely tenacious.  Just because the powers that be are threatened that someone might break into the top 2...

You say humble, I call Federer an Ice Princess.
