Is it just me, or does life get harder as the years go by?

It seems the longer I live (52) the tougher life gets.

Even when you try to turn things around in a better direction. It is only temporary.

i agree with jmh22127

but the main reason is because you get increasing responsibility as you grow.  as a kid you live a carefree life & you can do whatever you want.  no chores.  school is easy.  you want something? your parents will buy it for you.

then you should get the idea exactly how life gets harder on you as you go.

right now my parents are introducing me to managing bank accounts and credit cards.

I am like UGH its so complicated

Hmmmmm, yes it does, but try and concentrate on the positives that happen in your life, no matter how small.  We have a tendency to believe that everyone else's life is better than our own, but sometimes we have to take a step back to realise that we are lucky in comparison to most other people in the world.

usually, yes. as you grow up, you get more responsibilities, and you constantly need to learn new thing, to do more things.
