Is it just me, or is Lil' Wayne over-rated?

My opinion: good beats, alright flows, but the songs seem half done and somewhat empty.

Honestly if you listen to his lyrics really closely, they aren't all that great. Yeah, I like him but sometimes what he says doesn't even have anything to do with anything !! Anyways ya'll can hate on me cause I didn't say dude was bad but that's just my opinion.

His lyrics are genius. he is in my opinion better then 2pac or any other huge rappers. Hes not overrated

He's talented and likable but yes, a bit over-rated. He blew up kind of like Akon - through a gazillion collaboration songs. "Blah blah blah (featuring Lil Wayne)"
