I watched this video of her on some talk show (to see who she was after watching impressions on whose line) and I find her adorable in this video. Am I right or do I just need to stop surfing the youtubes???

Dude, probably need to quit surfing?  I'm old enough to remember Carol.  What always got me was the deep voice?  Never figured that out?  I never saw her with a cigarette either?  Is she still alive?
