Biggest concern. Obama with his lack of experience and common sense and people of the like who would vote for him.

It seems headed that way.  My biggest concern is that my grandchildren won't have a happy life. They are already being denied an innocent childhood because there is no way to shelter them from all the bad behavior and language that pervades everyday life.  Everything is relative and people no longer have standards or pride.  In this age of instant gratification, it is harder to stay on the right path and surround yourself with people who can bring you up instead of down.  The emphasis is on becoming famous no matter what.

I'm 49 to and got laid off in June, had surgery 2 weeks later, had complications and am continuing to recover so I can't look for work.  I had a little bit saved up so I'll be okay for a couple more months.  I'm concerned about finding a job that will pay my relatively simple expenses.  I'm also concerned about my long term health.  I have to, however, say to myself that someone out there has it alot worse than me and try to be optimistic.

You are not crazy, I work with the public and from the rich to the poor I hear all the same that they are struggling to pay bills etc..... They are not working or just lost their jobs. I am too struggling with the same. I make descent money and have never overspent and purchased a mobile home and wonder week to week if I am going to pay my bills, fuel my car and eat. Life is tuff right now, I would recommend to purchase extra food when you can.

felt for a long time that there was noone on Y/A that was over 16 yrs. old.  WOW I get to

talk to grown ups.

  About the craziness, yes things are getting

crazy.  I have spent the last 2 hours just trying

to find an intelligent question to answer.

Most of these make no sense, or are putting

somebody down, or just downright mean.

  I have noticed this generation has nothing

that they value above all else.  The values

are hair/make up/ getting good grades with

no knowledge/all the young are making

babies.  In fact this site is getting so

depressing that I think I will have to leave for

awhile.  Watchwords are: desolation,degradation, isolation, mutilation,

mental anguish, no self identity, fear, poverty, anger, violence, hatred.

It's scary and right now the future seems bleak, peoples morals are deteriorating, the economy and the state of our country is at risk.  I'm ready to have kids but am not sure I want to bring new life into this scary world, I don't want to worry about their futures.

It's basically just a year or two away from being there. Biggest concern? The downfall of the US. due to debt, greed, and the control of our government by the large corporations and the elite super rich.- When you have  the oil companies making the highest profits in the world, and the government giving them the largest tax breaks in world history, and telling us it would give us independence from foreign oil and keep oil prices low due to drilling incentives the tax break was supposed to have given them, and two years later oil goes up 700%, people have to realize that this was brought on by corrupt politicians controlled by big oil and it's backers, the elite super rich.-We've had it!
