Not just you. The Olympics are special and so much fun! A lot of great moments this year, too! The medals, the upsets, the opening and closing ceremonies... It was so great!

I'm sad but I taped a lot of the events, opening and closing ceremonies so I have hours of it to watch at anytime whenever I'm missing them. The 2010 winter games are coming up though

Not me. It ended just in time. Too many things are olympic sports that shouldn't be. Like team rhythmic gymnastics. I don't even wanna watch the singles. And the diving went on ad nauseum, for days on end. The NBC producer must be a diver...showing all those boring prelims.  All we need to see there is the finals. Diving is the same, with nothing new, year after year.

The first few days of the Olympics were great, but lately the only thing I was interested in was the track FINALS (too much coverage of the prelims, while omitting other sports. They should show the finals or gold medal match of every sport, even if it's just for a few minutes, like they did on trampoline, shot put, high jump, javelin, etc. and get rid of all the prelims in track unless there's an American in them who didn't make the next cut.

Im really sad that are over. I got so use to going to bed and watching them all night, and the whole story with Michael Phelps getting 8 medals... Walsh and May for volleyball , the one guy Bolt who was freakin fast, the gymnastics, it was all so much fun to watch, i really got into these olympics, and I will for sure remember these ones for a long time!!! Its not going to be the same not hearing about the Olympics everynight! So sad!!!

No. China did a wonderful job. They showed what they were capable of accomplishing. They were proud of their ancient history and they wanted to show the world their history and their people. It was their show, but it was a grand event.

Now we can watch the Democratic Convention and America's Got Talent is back! Time to move on. School starts and new events will begin.

Me too. From the stunning opening ceremony, the victories, the upsets, the winning moments to the sad atmosphere at the closing ceremony, the Beijing Olympics was great!
