Is it just me or do you think theres always a lot of boys getting born?

Question

theres hardly any girls getting born all I hear is boys getting born.. why is this? Is there more male sperm in a man than female sperm?

When you got pegnant did you get what you wanted a boy or a girl?

I have a boy and i really want another boy.. im almost feel like not trying again in fear that i will have a girl.

I got me a little girl. I haven't noticed that though. It actually does seem like there might be a little more boys being expected this year then girls but in my family our newest babies are girls.

It's the opposite here. more girls than boys.

i have 4 kids. 3 biological and 1 step son, but i've raised him since he was in pampers so he's all mine!  lol

when i was pregnant w/my first i wanted a boy, and i just KNEW i was having a boy. and i did. the numbers of boys and girls was pretty even when he was born.

when i was pregnant w/my second we had tried to have baby for 3 yrs and i was so excited! i wanted a girl, and again i just KNEW i was having a girl, and i did. there were more boys than girls born when she was born.

when i was pregnant w/my third we wanted another girl, but *yes again* i just knew i was having a boy instead. there were more girls born than boys when he was born.

Have you ever heard the old adage in times of war the number of male births rises?

Personally, I think it's a bit superstitious, but I was indeed the only one of my pregnant peers who gave birth to a girl this year.

it is just based on what the parents have done,

some times your blessed with a male and other times with a female,

& it seems that theres always more men in this world then women

there are more girls being born than boys in every hospital in the world, maybe you are just around friends who have had boys

Nope, just the opposite for me. Everyone I know who has recently had a baby has had a girl.  But I am having a boy. I got pregnant in March.

And it isn't female sperm or male sperm.  It is a chromosome that is in the sperm.

what  there were 5 other women and 4 men (whos wifes where expecting) at my work when I was only two boys out of that lot mine and another.

Wow, I wish that that went in my favor!!  I just had baby girl #4 in March. We were really hoping for a boy but she was very much a girl!
