Is it just me or does Federer just struggle on hard courts?

Question

All his bad losses this year, bar one to Stephanek, have been on hards. Fed actually had a pretty good clay court season- finals in Monte, Hamburg, and RG, winning Estoril. Losing only to Rafa. I ignore the RG defeat cos I think it was down to bad tactics- he got alot closer in the Hamburg/Monte finals. So clay not bad. Grass wsn't bad eiether- won Halle, played really well at Wimby, can't put Rafa's win down to bad play from Federer in the final. So really all his losses are coming on hard courts. Why do you think this is, or do you disagree?

4 consecutive US Open titles and 36 hard court titles, certainly suggests that he doesn't. But only two small titles this year, and no grandslams means he is struggling on everything this year period. Today Fed had a bad day and didn't have his head in the game and Blake took advantage, rightfully so. Fed's having a bad year, it's happened to every great player, but he keeps going because he isn't a quitter. He's still if not the best, one of the very best hard court players on the ATP tour.

Yes he is struggling. He's in a slump and the best players go through them.

Ok, so you never really got any decent answers lol! I think at Roland Garros Rafa would have beaten Roger not matter what the tactics lol! Nadal`s game on clay has improved...can u believe i said that? when people thought he was already amazing on clay he goes and gets better, scary **** huh?! :S Anyway Roger has to realise that he is beatable maybve he thinks cause he`s Federer he`ll do anyone on hard, he has to be aware there are pretty good players out there.... My answer is just as bad as everyone elses :P haha I duno what to say  Fed sucks on hard ?! I dont think that, i think mainly players these days are improving there tennis and thats why there coming up with wins against fed. I think its Rogers game, people are finding it easy to beat ! lol He should stop all those errors...... thank god he can get cheap points though imagine if he couldnt do many aces :O:O:O !!! jeez
