Is it just me or does it seem...?

Is it just me or does it seem like there is a baby boom this year?

Its an odd question I know but I was thinking about it today and I personally know 16 people (family and frends) including myself that have had babies since the first of 2007 (including 1 set of twins).

I know another 11 people that are pregnant and due before the end of the year (including another set of twins due in 3 weeks). I also know 3 people due right after the first of next year (including my sister).

It just seems like there are A LOT of babies being born this year. Anyone else feel this way? Lol

We know several girls, about 7, who are about to have their babies. We just thought a lot of people had a good time celebrating the new year. Good luck with your bubs. :)

lol i was feeling the same way. I think its like when you get a new car. You never see the one you are buying until you get it and then you see everyone in the same car as you. I think because we are taking more notice

Definately, i had a baby on the 4th and i've noticed that everyone is pregnant this year

LOL Maybe you're just getting to the age and stage in your life when everyone around you is in their childbearing years?

There is a baby boom, the nurse at the hospital told me it has been crazy for babies, they have to build a whole seperate building here because the maternity ward is so full, it is spilling over into the other wards and they just cannot accomidate how many babies are being born.  There was a line up for doctors when I went in to have my little one!  It's just crazy huh?

Yes, there is actually a baby boom. At least, there was. I saw it on the news a couple of weeks ago, I don't remember if it started in 06 or in 07 but they said it was almost as big, if not bigger than the baby boom back in the 40s!
