  1. I am sick of always seen events with Australians in them, It's basically been swimming and rowing this whole time. Shame on Channel 7, I want to see other events. When an Australian is in the 100 hurdles, they will just show that and then get back to the swimming, what about all the other athletes in track?

    The commentators are terrible also.

  2. It has been garbage, it didn't even show the 100m hurdles semifinals live (which had an Aussie in it, instead going to gymnastics.

  3. I agree with you. Apart from the first day & the 2 Triathlons, I've only been watching the Olympics on SBS.

  4. 7 is c**p!!!!

it's just chopped bits and pieces floating everywhere

it really makes no sense, like what were seven thinking?? put bits and pieces everywhere really isnt going to make people want to watch it, it just gets confusing and there's no itensity

i don't remember the athens or sydne coverage to be like this

oh and i also enjoy watching each athlete as they call out their names lke in swimming and aths cos then we get to analyse them lol

  5. i must agree with you in regards to channel 7 coverage.

if i see any more slo mo"s, i shall heave the telly out the window.

it must have looked good at first but strewth....enough is enough...god bless sbs, thats all i can say.

no so called personalities to put up with or even biased reporting.

    roll on the vlosing cermonies.

  6. I refuse to expose my television to the grot that is SBS so I can't comment on their coverage. I do however agree that Channel 7's coverage has been disgraceful.

  7. How could 7 break into the Boomers V Dream Team game for 7 minutes of Ads?

During which the Dream team jumped ahead?

At least SBS stick with a game until its finished!!

SBS may be showing a lot of other countries rather than Australia, but there is no doubt that as far as coverage and professionalism goes, they are creaming seven.

  8. It's not just you, I asked the same question last week!

For an Australian network, they sure had a huge fixation with American swimmers!

There were a lot of Golden Aussie moments that were barely even broadcast, and I would have much rather seen Aussie medalists every 20 minutes instead of Micheal Phelps! Not taking away from his success but we are Aussies after all!

It seems that many people are turning over to SBS. Good on them I say!

  9. well 7's got HD, I'm not sure about SBS because the reception isnt that good. I think channel 7 is doing better this year than for the Athens olympics.

  10. Definitely!!
