  1. to be totally honest..i love scotland and always hope they do well..but they don't excite me the way the rangers games do...still want our national team to do well but i will admit to preferring club football

  2. my passion has always been there.

  3. i have to admit it scotland dont rock my boat.dont get me wrong i want them to win but i would'nt cross the road to go and watch them.i been to see them a couple of times once again england when steve bull scored at hampden and when they played ireland

  4. well interesting Q,where shall we start ,I know national anthems ,as almost a separate nation I take it Scotland the braves OK,,dash that will upset some fans wearing Scotland's strips, who ll cheer god save the queen, and upset the other half who want scotland the brave.Anyway on the footballing side as were on the up,we should actually all back the team 100 %,I don't care who scores the winning goal,Miller, Maloney, Broadfoot as long as hes not from macedonia who cares, hope we don't let the madness off the old firm tear apart the most passionate international fans in the world................................

  5. im passionate about everything thats scottish. Haggis, tattie scones, scotland football team, rangers football team, scottish history

    Cmon the scots

  6. COME ON SCOTLAND

    FUC EM ALL

  7. I think 95% of supporters choice club over country. Club football is everyday, that's all we think about. Whereas international football is a one off thing, & if it's a friendly then it feel like it's just risking our players injury.

  8. I am always pasionate about Scotland i love the team and i hate when they loose as much if not more so than when Rangers get beaten, but it may be hard for the fans to be passionate these days when they are fearing a return to the berti vogts age of drawing with diddy teams i dont think burley is cut out to be Scotland manager he has an awful lot to prove and big boots to fill. And with the fans slagging off the national anthem of scotland not to mention disrespecting the national anthem of other countries i fear that our good name may be tarnished by this new breed of Scotland fan that puts their own religeous or political views in front of backing the national team through thick and thin.

  9. My passion will never leave me when supporting Scotland, i prefer internationals before club football, i'm not so narrowminded to boo or jeer a player that plays for rangers cos if they're playing scotland it doesn't matter who their club is

  10. chas i worry...burley only decides the other week that faddy and miller are not suited..broadfoot is not ready for scotland....

  11. my passion is as it always was, chas... i like scotland, i support scotland, but it's NEVER enthused me as much as club football...

having said that, i have friends who don't follow club football at all but are mad mental tartan army members...

so i reckon it works both ways.

i promise i will answer any question on scotland and the forthcoming WC qualifiers with a passion...  if it means we can stop talking about the old firm game from sunday.

  12. passion will never die for Scotland

  13. I am a very patriotic Scot and always want us to do well.  I could not care less what club any player in Scotland colours plays for either.  I was approaching my teenage when Scotland played in the World Cup in Argentina and it gripped the entire COUNTRY.  I remember the ice-cream van in the street I grew up in giving all the kids a free cone, after wee Gemmill scored versus Holland, surely the best gaol in the history of the World Cup ?  Ok, Ally McLeod bigged it up way too much, and set us up for a big fall.  But the fact was, the nation believed that we could do something.  Shame we waited until it was too late !  Maybe that's the problem, we tend to be defeatist at times.  Let's all kid ourselves we are going to WIN the next World Cup I say, won't do any harm !

Mon the Scotland - wha's like us ?

  14. I am a proud scot and  will always support scotland in internationals the same way as I love when scottish sportspeople do well, but I do not have the same desire to attend the internationals the way that I have for Club football.Any player who pulls on the blue for scotland is great in my book.....But I can't really believe Broadfoot has been named in the squad, hope he proves me wrong.
