Pretty much all this year except til now there weren't really any disasters, but now you hear about tornados, earthquakes and cyclones, what is up with that?

Are there more deaths happening considering the two natural disasters or do just as many people die in Africa without any fanfare?

If it is global warming, then that might mean this could be a trend, I hope not

  1. It's because we have more technology that reports these disasters to us that it seems never ending. These disasters have always been here for many, many years. I personally think earth is changing and we must change with it.

  2. There have been more deaths recently! The cyclone and earthquake alone has killed many more than I can even fathom. And there is too much media these days for a disaster to happen somewhere else without fanfare. Something I have also noticed is the kids who are killing their parents, and vise versa. It seems like every week something like that happens.

  3. The warming weather is taking its toll.

  4. Thanks for noticing.

  5. When there are more people, there will be more deaths.  But the world turns just like it ever has.

  6. maybe but how would earthquakes be a effect of global warming..

  7. It's not you.  While earthquakes, cyclones, tornadoes, tsunamis, etc. have always existed, the frequency and severity are on the increase.  Couple these events with the increases in wars, starvation, and rampant disease prevalent in much of the world, the senseless violence and killing in our streets even among our children, and we have a frightening picture to view.  Cause for the deviance of nature can be attributed to pollution, global warming, or whatever, but the real cause can  be traced scripturally back to the origin of man.  Read Matthew 24.  It speaks of the tribulation to befall us before the second coming of Christ.  You can poo poo Bible prophecy if you wish, but it was prophecied in both the Old and New Testaments of the events that would precede the second coming.  I'm not a fanatical fundamentalist or bible thumper, I'm just a man who has lived for 64 years, witnessed a worsening of the human experience, and can see no solution to these problems coming from men.  I can't place my faith in any man to unravel the mess we as humans have fostered.  Only in the kingdom of God which will come down to Earth.  "And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes"! People have always placed hope in their leaders, poltical and religious, but the world situation worsens daily.  Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the waters; put your hand in the hand of the man who clamed the sea.  Put your hands (and therefore trust) in the hands of the man from Galilee.  Apostle Paul said that our faith should be in the living Christ and him crucified.  This is the light of the world!

  8. No. You're just noticing it more. Every year, there are natural disasters all around the world. You're just more aware, but this year hasn't been any more special then that past 50 years. The only way there could be a serious spike in death rate around the world is A. War B. Endemic C. A MAJOR MAJOR disaster, like a comet hitting the earth. D. Aliens attacking.

  9. Its HAARP that is doing it.  The guys in Alaska have been very busy lately.
