Is it just me or is it amazingly annoying how every road I drive down seems to be closed for construction..??

It must be just you.

Where I live, many highways are constantly under construction, but the highway department has good signage when there are detours, or traffic slowdowns, and the police are good at giving tickets to people who speed through construciton sites & the penalties extremely severe.

So we get through the construction area in an orderly manner without placing the construction worker lives at risk.

Yeah it's annoying, but you can't dig in the middle of winter.
