i've noticed john mccains trying to make him look bad, cnn is doing it too sometimes. and they always use stupid reasons... like today they got some random actor on some show on CNN (censored national news) and they were talking about how voting for obama would turn the states into a socialist country...which i personaly highly disagree with. in my opinion, obama certainly isn't the best choice for president (in my opinion, ron paul is), but he's certainly better than an old guy who gets mad all the time and wants more years in iraq and wants to start bombing iran for no good reason... whatever...what are your thoughts? is the media biased against obama?

please, if your answer is just going to say "MCCAIN '08" or something like that, don't bother answering. i want an unbiased answer please and thank you.

  1. You're kidding me with this question right?

Obama is the media's little bundle of joy right now. On both sides!  The fact that CNN had an actor on talking HIS own opinion on the matter isn't to be considered as anti-Obama media bias. It's just one person and this was probably on a talk show like Larry King where that kind of typical opinionated conversation occurs.

John Edwards is out of the race, wants attention since the DNC is coming up and he won't be the Veep nominee so he addresses the subject of his infidelity against his dying wife. Did that even waver the attention on Obama? No. Granted, there was coverage of it, but there was still Obama on my TV, getting pancakes to go in Iowa or something.

I could go on and on about this. Simply:  The media isn't biased against Obama.

  2. Much is the mainstream media is for Obama

    Live and Let Live

  3. You must be joking...

  4. Obama is the media's sweetheart.

I don't think they are biased against either one of the candidates. I have seen a lot of good/bad things about both Obama and McCain. Actually Obama is getting an awful lot of free media coverage lately.

As for McCain trying to make Obama look bad, that works both ways.

    God Bless America

  5. Yerp, in a million subtle ways the media is much harder on Obama than McCain:

Not surprising, the corporate elite want McCain since he promises to "stay the course" and the corporate fleecing of America can continue unabated.

  6. Oh... poor Obama!

If anything he's been given an easy ride. The media is in love with him, and he hasn't been made to answer the tough questions. Why did he go to his church for 20 years? Why is he such a radical? How will he lead us to victory in Iraq? Do you know the answers to these questions... no you do not because the liberal media is not asking. It is amazing that the Democratic party would even choose this man as it's nominee! He is so inexperienced about the economy and foreign policy that he is in no way shape or form qualified to lead the free world.

It's not a matter of making Obama look bad. I would like to know why any educated person would vote for Obama. His own voting record is enough to make any normal person scratch their heads.

Please don't take what I said to be rude. I used to support Obama, but I recently came to my senses.
