Is it just me or is this a lot of school supplys nesscary for a 8th grader?!

This everything that is necessary:

pencils

pens

hard drive

3 one subject notebooks

2 jumbo book covers

scientific calculator

thin line markers

perment markers

index cards

5 subject notebook

ruler

colored pencils

2 glue sticks

2 pocket folders

accordion folder (at least 8 pockets)

We have to have a lot of stuff because the teachers arent supplying the things that we need in the class rooms but this seems like a little much for an 8th grader i didn't have anywhere near this in 7th grade.

If you already have some of the things from last year, use those.

Requiring you to have a computer is ridiculous and, so is that eight pocket folder. Now, the rest of the stuff is standard eighth grade stuff. The reason you have more supply requirements is because your school is trying to prepare you for high school. You're going to be doing a lot of hard work this year.
