  1. I imagine the training WOULD be expensive - unless you get it in the military.  You might wait till the Iraq war is over ( I have little doubt that the Democrats will win the White House and the war will be ended within a year) and then consider joining the Airforce.

My own father was a midwest farm boy when he joined the Airforce at the beginning of WWII.  He ended up flying a C-47 troop-carrier around the Pacific during the war and flying in the famed Berlin Airlift afterwards.

Just before he left the military, he even trained on the "Flying Wing" which was an early prototype for today's stealth planes.

He should have stayed with it, because he was never as happy in civilian life and was crippled by a cerebral hemmorhage in his late 30s.

My boyfriend's oldest daughter joined the Airforce at the start of the first Gulf War and flew something called a "Wild Weasel".  After the war, she went to work flying private jets for the executives of Nissan Motors.  She is still doing that, I believe, and loving it!

  2. It's just you.

    Sash.

  3. yea, it's just you. Of course you can be a pilot.

  4. any one can be a pilot,as long as you have a healthy heart and aren't colour blind.lessons are about 150 dollars. save your money and buy one lesson at a time. when people see how hard you are trying to be a pilot, they will try to help you if they can.dont let anyone tell you you cant do it. i dont think there is even an age limit.
