I used to hate it when he'll let his ego do most of the talking but now that he's becoming a lil too 'soft'(for luck of a better word),i kinda miss the old Djoker..

""I'm not thinking about them[Nadal & Federer] and their rivalry," said the Serb .

Does that mean he's taking himself out of the mix now? Even his oncourt demeanor isn't as fierce as it used to be.where are all the fist pumps and the yelling. The huge presence he used to bring to the court doesn't seem to be there anymore.

anyways, i'm probably just overreacting but his last few appearances at both Toronto and Cincinnati were not very convincing.

  1. Same here I dunno whats up with him. He seems disinterested to me. I miss the old Novak also :-P

  2. yea i have no clue whats going on

maybe he feels like he cant catch up to them or something

maybe he was slandered by the media too much

  3. I personally think his arrogant parents and nerdy brother are a bigger problem than he is.

  4. You maybe right.  I notice he seem sad. All so, the commantator say he is not making antic in the lockerroom for the other players do not like him.

I think he makes that he is better than Roger, but he lose in Monte Carlo to Roger and quit for sore throat. This is so much a joke. Roger is unique not for Djokovic to make jokes on.

  5. The poor guy has had a bit of criticism lately and probably just doesn't know how to act.  I think Wimbeldon was a bit of a wake up call and now he's just trying to find his feet again.  Things happened very quickly for him and i think he's still settling in.  He'll be back.

  6. I think he is trying to just get his game back on track and play his game. Some players after major success tend to have mild collapses. he is perfect case in point. he has much game and will continue to always be a threat. However hsi head has to stay in each point, each game, each match. he had a good win this evening against a very big server. Hopefully this will lift his confidence some. Having lost against the surging Nadal 3 times, perhaps by beating him will get his juices flowing. Perhaps too, he should display his impersonations of Sharapova, and let loose a bit lol. I liek this guy alot but always have to cheer for Nadal first  =).

  7. But Djokovic won his match today in Cincinnati. He smoked Seppi 6-1, 6-2.

He's doing well at Cincy so far unless he suddenly dropped out and I haven't heard?

  8. I still don't like him, never did. Federer and Nadal rock!

  9. I think maybe he's experiencing the backlash of his own arrogance. When he really started coming up as a contender last year and becoming "part of the conversation" with Rafa and Fed expectations for him started to rise. Then when he won the Aussie Open he really was riding a high horse and he really sort of pumped himself up to be this tennis maestro and then came the early round exits from Wimbledon, bad loss at the tournament last week it's all really kind of wearing him down mentally because he figured he would just steam roll everyone on the ATP tour and he hasn't done that and it's frustrated him. He used to be a really funny guy last year, then early this year he was so incredibly arrogant, and now he's just kind of blah LOL. I think maybe the losses are kind of showing him that he has much growing to do as a player and winning one grandslam doesn't make you better than anybody else. But I think he'll get back on his feet in the upcoming weeks, he'll start to mellow out and just start letting his raquet talk for him. Hopefully he does because he's far too talented and a good player.

  10. Its great. Pple have stopped talking about him bin the enxt number 1 blah blah blah. Its obvious where he belongs and where he is going to stay for a long long time- number 3.

However, as a number 3 I would like to see him reach some semis when he is on Rafas side on the draw!!

Sorry im dead biast I am a huge Roger fan.

Oh and theres nothing wrong with him- its just form.

  11. a crash out of wimbledon by an unexpected safin, and disapointments in toronto and cinnciatti have taken its tool.... i guess he is having somewhat of a mental breakdown.. having won australia and falling short since... the expectation was much bigger for him after that

don't threat, i think at the US OPEN he is going to start to click again.. the surface is great for his game.. the fastest hardcourt...
