Is it just some strange coincidence that everynight without fail I check the time at exactly 1:23am?

..Seriously freaks me out that every night when I randomly check the time I always look at the clock when it is on 1:23am WITHOUT FAIL I will be checking the time at 1:23 !! It is a really strange coincidence don't you think?

P.s. I don't check the time all that often, so its not like I'm looking at the clock every other minute..lol

Your body is "programmed" to do that. For example, I often wake up at 6:45 on the weekends because my alarm goes off at that time for work during the week.

for the longest time I would always check the time when it was a palindrome. 11:11, 12:21, 1:01, you name it. it was a strange thing.

your not alone....i find it strangely fascinating when the numbers on my DVD player are all the same or symmetrical whats that all about. one night i woke up and my alarm clock was upside down and the time was 11:34 on a digital clock that spells h**l that was weird

I have many bizarre things like that happen, when I was younger I would see the clock at 8.47pm everynight for about 2 years.... i wouldnt worry about it...Its more probably because our bodies and brains are much more aware of the time then we are (hence why we wake up moments before our alarms often) and you may be inadvertently training your brain to make your eyes look at the clock at this time...

There is a condition ( and i have it myself ) where you feel complete when you see numbers in sequence!!!! I have to stop the DVD i am watching on the sequence 1:23:45... Yes it is a bit strange but don't worry about... It is like a mild OCD... BUT DON'T BE PANICKING!!!  Your mind know exactly what time it is every moment of the day...... your brain really is that good!  It's like people waking up at exactly 7 am every morning when they are gettin ready to go to work!!!

Dave, normally I wouldn't mention this...... glad you posted this question. I don't look at a clock that often either, but every time I do, the number 13 is always showing. More than a coincidence without a doubt. It only happens when I'm not thinking about it and will say 13 nearly ten times out of ten. I can't give you an idea on why 1:23.............. I should say, if 13 isn't on the clock, the numbers will add up to 13. My ex didn't believe me until I proved it to her.
