Is it kind of any talent that my daughter repeats her classroom experience at home by assumin role of teacher?

Sometimes my daughter (she's 5 years and in Kindergarten) after coming back from school sits on the bed or in the living room and sets an imaginary classroom and assumes the role of her teacher and give insitructions to students like a teacher while sitting alone in the room. Off course no student at home infront of her. It's all like talking to herself and giving instructions with hands and moves like a teacher in the room.

I did the same thing when I was growing up, and now both of my granddaughters do the same thing and include my grandsons in the game too..i think it is really cute...and i think at this time she just likes playing school..i think all or most children do this when they are little.  i had an imaginary classroom myself, but i wanted to be a teacher at the time.  it is just a fun game for her, but who knows she might want to be a teacher one day.  don't discourage her.  also maybe she admires her teacher and wants to be like her...who knows? but let her use her imagination, it is good for her..

Dramatic play is one of the ways that young children process information and learn about the world around them.  For this reason, most early childhood classrooms include a dramatic play area that varies in the materials included.  Sometimes it is a kitchen with food and pots and pans and dress up clothes so they can try on roles such as mom, dad, grandma, or brother or sister.  Sometimes it might be a doctor's office, a restaurant, a school room, a zoo, or any of a variety of other settings.  Your daughter is trying on the role of school teacher.  It is a hands-on experience that helps her understand what a teacher is, and helps her to process information she is learning at school.  Feel free to ask if you may join her play once in a while.  She might like to have you be the student so she can teach you what she is learning in school.  Learning through dramatic play is creative, interesting, and beautiful to watch and participate in.  Enjoy watching this wonderful phase of your child's development.

Not really... I did that all the time when I was her age. All my friends did, too. Buy her some dolls so she can use that as her class, and it might inspire her to become a teacher.

my neice does the same thing, i think its a girl thing.

Its a parent thing however to think everything your child does is a special talent.

i wouldn't really call it a talent..but that probally means she's paying attetion in class and she's just playing school i used to do that alot..she might want to become a teacher when she grows up! good luck _Helen :]

Not really a "talent", just that she listens and likes taking control. I used to do the same thing, and now I'm about to go to college for a teaching degree. Kinda funny. So, that might mean that she likes to teach. Keep your eyes open.
