what were we built for. if you think about it most animals seem to have a region or climate zone they thrive in and they arent found elsewhere or not in great numbers. i wonder what we were made for?

my guess is a mild desert climate. just going by what we could survive in without clothing. it couldnt be too cold or too rainy it would have to be dry and temperatures ranging from warm to hot. so something like what Italy or Greece is like now.

actual facts would be appreciated but opinions will be interesting too i think.

  1. It is generally accepted that early humans came from eastern Africa, so they didn't have to worry about cold too much.

However it is very likely humans lost their body hair only after they started wearing clothes, so they were never defenseless against the elements as their appearance might suggest. Before then humans had as much hair on their bodies as great apes.

  2. I personally believe in the Bible and the fact that Adam and Eve were the first humans.  Their environment was described as a jungle type of environment with lots of plants and animals.  Then God sent them out of the garden and eventually the Bible describes how God sent men to every corner of the earth, and changed their languages so they wouldnt feel so powerful.  so the answer to your question is the garden of eden, a warm moist jungle type environment, walking next to God.

  3. There are some detractors, but it is generally believed that the earliest humans came from Africa; Ethiopia, to be exact.  The climate there is considered sub-saharan.

  4. Well I believe people came from Africa orginally, so, a dry savannah/desert climate.
