The act of putting the music on the iPod is not the issue. Theoretically, the act of putting music on there is not illegal. It is having the music downloaded from Limewire that is illegal. Moreover, that being said, nobody's been sued for putting illegal music on an iPod. Instead, people are being sued for sharing the music. So don't worry about putting it on the iPod, it just isn't really in Apple's interest to bust their consumers who put illegal music on their device (which is just about everyone).
