  1. Unethical.. Different countries have Code of Ethics for RNs.. I think it would be somehow stated there (not directly)... In legal terms, it would be, depending on severity, nature (slight physical injuries).. If you are the parent, filing for administrative sanctions is also good. Most cases, the nurse may receive I.R. (Incident report)


  2. You mean something sexual ? It's legal, but very unprofessional.  

  3. no it is completely unethical, and could get the nurse the sack.

    the medical board would see this as manipulation of a person whom was vulnrable at the time ( parent who is worried about child).

    so on this premise it would be classed as unethical, and abusive.

    if way after the child had left hospital, these two people decided to get it together, that would be o.k, but not at such a vulnrable time.
