I  don't know that there's a law against it, but I certainly don't think it's healthy for the child.

yes it is legal, but it doesn't look or sound very appropriate. you should be more forceful and make her sleep in her own bed. i find it rather disturbing that she's still 12 years old and is sleeping in the same bed with you and your partner. i stopped doing that around the age of 5 or 6.

Depends on where you live.  I wouldn't though...give the kid a bedroom and if the parents have to, they can sleep in the living room.

of coarse  its leagal. Its only illegal if she gets involved in anything sexual that may happen, Of coarse its probably not healthy for the child but its not illegal

No actually I don't think it is. I think legally she must be in another room or they could charge you with child abuse.

And other than legally wouldn't anyone realize this isn't a good idea. I mean she would be exposed to all kinds of things she doesnt need exposure to.

im pretty sure there aren't any laws, but u should double check to make sure, but its also not healthy at that age...

It's certainly legal for a family to have a one-bedroom apartment, so -- yes.  If it were a foster child it would not be allowed.

Obviously if there's space it's not an optimal arrangment.  But last I checked it's not illegal to be poor.

Why would she be? And by partner, it can't be her father, right? If it was on a vaction or at grandma's, then yes, no big deal. I would not allow it as a permanent solution though. What if your partner wakes in the middle of the night and sees her in a 'hot/s**y' sleeping position and sees more than he might during the day?? He could manage anything while you are sleeping.....

It's legal but I don't think it's appropriate.  A young teen needs her privacy and so do the adults.
