  1. It's not illegal. The DI can make you do almost anything. The commander would be pissed that you disobeyed your instructor. I've had a Drill Sergeant stand on my kevlar when I lowcrawled in the sand.

  2. Well this is tricky technically he has to feed you and he cant really tell you not to eat he has to give you food and x amount of time to eat so no he couldnt really do that but you have to listen even though he cant tell you not to eat but you cant take it apon yourself to eat if that makes sense. So if you ate you'd be wrong too you did the right thing by listening and if you told on him yeah he'd get in alittle trouble but then you would be screwed even if they removed him from the platoon or even you you just get another DI and they'd have your name and you'd still be screwed so you did the right thing you don't ever want to p**s off a DI he has 600 DI friends...haha

  3. How are you getting online if you're in boot camp?

If I were you, I'd be more worried about getting caught for being online!

Edit: Well aren't things different now than they were 28 yrs ago?

When I went to boot camp 5 years ago, I got yelled at because somehow I ended up at a table with one guy (the other guy left) and the TI yelled at us and asked us if we thought we were on a date or what the h**l was going on. And then he  flipped the table and then made us clean up the mess. It really didn't make me think too highly of him, I thought he was being a little ridiculous.

  4. LOL. A DI made you throw your food out 28 years ago and you're still flustered by it? Grow a pair.

(For some reason, tell me if I'm irrational, but this person may not have ever been in the Corps.)

  5. Yes he can do that.  If you finish your food and ignore your drill sargeant you would be in direct violation of article 91 and 92 of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ)  insubordination and failure to obey a lawful order.  LOL it's part of training, it's all mental.  You'll look back and laugh about it.

  6. No they do what they want The DI are no joke.

  7. IM sure. I know my husband only had so much time to eat..in basic.. if you dont finish O-well.. this cant be that diffrent.

  8. 28 years ago I'm sure he would have slapped your A$$.  Nowadays, you can get away with a lot more.  If they slap you with an article whatever, whatever, then fight it, that's why they have legal in the military.  It's just like the gov't to spend countless hours of time to punish someone for actually eating food.  The gov't is a big gang, look at them wrong and they get pissed off and do piddly S**t to you that makes you hate them even more.

  9. It's called discipline and it's what you are in basic training to learn. You were wrong, plain and simple and you are lucky if you didn't get an Article 15 and a couple of weeks punishment marching at night while the rest of the troops were resting!

  10. you are such a little girl. GROW UP!!!!  how do you have a computer at Parris island? or Camp pendleton? YOU DONT, so it already happened
