Uk answers only please. He is over 21 and i'm wanting to buy a small car and put some 'L' plates on, to learn in alongside my formal lessons. He has a liscence but was banned from driving last year. As it will be me behind the wheel and him observing, is this legal, bearing in mind his banned status?

  1. If he's banned from driving legally...his license is no longer valid..and as a result..cannot be instructing anyone to drive.

You must have a valid driver..with a valid license... who is at least 21 years of age..to legally give you driving lessons.

  2. he is banned from driving so also banned from 'sitting'' with u as a licence holder as he isnt any more.

  3. No it is illegal, he is banned.
