Is it legal for a boat to drop me and my friends off at a marina in NYC every morning?

Like a commuter option. Fast boat. May turn it into a business.

First I am going to test it out with 3 friends.

legal yes, but plan on having uninvited company checking you out (homeland security) they are the rudest people you will ever encounter, really ruin your day

The Port Authority may have a question or two for you every morning.  Aside from that it sounds like a great plan.  I bet you could make a killing at that.

Well if its not, the there are alot of illegal aliens arriving from NJ every morning.

Check for the ferry terminals and marinas in the area.  the private ones, will not like the idea of strangers arriving from the sea and walking around thier marina, but I know you can use the ferry facilities if they are available.

It's not illegal, but you will probably get hassled for it awhile until the local authorities are familar with seeing you guys do that.
