  1. A reputable dealer would not jeopardize his reputation and knowingly sell a car with a twisted frame. The buyer is the one who has to beware of situations as the one just stated. There are many in the business to make money . So if they pay almost nothing for the vehicle with the twisted frame it is legal for them to sell.Who is to prove they had prior knowledge ?

  2. Now this cries out for a lawyer.

  3. I dont see why not unless the car is unsafe to drive. They will just have to tell you about it and explain that it is sold as is. They will most likely tell you it is not safe to drive until it has been fixed.

  4. In most states it is illegal. if you buy a used car that has an unsafe condition they have to fix it, no matter how small or large, a broken windshield, bad brakes, bad seatbelts, and a twisted frame. you need to get someone who is strong but doesn't go overboard and tell them that they need to fix that car....or you will pursue other avernues which may be more costly to them and ruiness to their car business reputation

  5. Not as long as it is over 5 years old. If it is under 5 years, then it is illegal for them to sell it without disclosing that it was wrecked or damaged.
