Is it legal for a kid to buy energy drinks?

i am talking about red bull, monster, you get the picture. Like could my 12 year old go out to a local store on his bike and buy energy drinks? will they sell it to him? Thanks to all.

Its not alcohol but why would a 12 year old with plenty of energy need energy drinks to make them worse?

Yea they will sell it to him redbull and monster have no alchol content.

Yeah, it doesn't contain alcohol. So it's perfectly fine.

yes in most place they can buy them. but there are limits in different state for the caffeine content, legal for minors to buy

yes, there is no age requirement for buying energy drinks as long as they do not contain alcohol

yes. the only drink i am aware of not being sold to children under 18 without parental consent is redline. it is very dangerous to drink.

Energy drinks don't have alcohol in them.  I don't see why a teenager can't buy these drinks by himself.
