  1. As long as you aren't forcing him to

If he's getting paid or doing it because he wants to make a good impression of something then it's ok, but you're forcing him then it's the equivalent of walking up to someone on the street and saying "I'm a police officer, clean my car"...which isn't legal to do..

  2. you obviously did not provide enough information. it's fairly common practice though. when someone is in jail getting out to do anything is a privilege, it's called being a trustee. when there isn't work they "make work". in this case the inmate got out of his cage and the cop got his car washed.

  3. That depends on the police of that dept, was the inmate authorized to wash cars? Was the inmate getting paid to wash his car?

  4. yes if they r getting paid and as long as u don't force them to.

  5. they can make you shine his shoes if they want  dude.. just tell them you want to clean yours out while youre out there anyway

  6. Not if the police officer is abusing his authority. Being in authority does not entitle you to a free car wash. Report the scoundrel.

  7. depends if they were getting paid

  8. As long as the officer didn't force the man to wash his car.
